Accommodations

Halls Gap Lakeside Tourist Park offers Creekside Safari Tents with king beds, outdoor baths on the deck, and views into the bush. Junior Safari Tents include a kitchenette and a private corrugated iron shower under the stars. Budget Retro cabins and Modern Deluxe cabins come with stovetops, microwaves, and flat-screen TVs, while powered and unpowered caravan sites have fire pit rentals available.

Amenities

Two wood-fired heated pools - one adult and one family - are open all year and surrounded by grass and beanbags. The camp kitchen has a large dining area, a shared lounge, and a laundry facility. A coffee house at reception serves espresso drinks, and an on-site snack bar stocks local wines and firewood.

Wildlife

Kangaroos, emus, and sulphur-crested cockatoos roam freely around the park, often grazing just outside the safari tents. Guests can buy bird food at reception for $1 per bag to hand-feed the cockatoos. At dusk, deer and echidnas have also been spotted near the dam wall and along the creek.

Children's Activities

The playground includes trampolines, a sandpit, and ample space for ball games. During school holidays, the park organizes scavenger hunts, colouring competitions, and movie nights in the recreation room. Kids can borrow DVDs, books, and board games from reception free of charge.

Location & Surroundings

Lakeside Tourist Park sits a 5-minute drive from Grampians National Park's Wonderland section and a 5-minute walk from Grampians Adventure Golf. The purpose-built bike track runs from the park entrance into Halls Gap township, 4 km away. Lake Bellfield's walking tracks are within walking distance, and Stawell is a 30-minute drive south.
